Join us for an enlightening session on the latest evidence-based strategies to bolster brain health and reduce dementia risk. Over the past decade, our understanding of dementia risk, and how to reduce it, has greatly improved. The 2018 and 2020 Lancet Commission reports suggest that addressing 12 modifiable risk factors could reduce global dementia cases by up to 40%.
In this session, we will:
Explore three key studies that have advanced our understanding of dementia risk factors
Examine several of these risk factors, focusing on lifestyle changes and other interventions that can potentially lower the chances of developing dementia
Offer a Q&A to address your questions about dementia risk reduction and brain health
Don't miss this opportunity to learn about actionable steps to improve brain health and reduce dementia risk.
This community offering is co-sponsored by the Rockfish Enrichment Club, Here to Stay Wintergreen, and the Blue Ridge Medical Center.
