Meet JABA's Dorothy Wilson on Feb. 14
A special event for everyone in
Wintergreen and the Nellysford community
Mark your calendar to stop by our HSW office at Tuckahoe Clubhouse, on Wednesday, February 14 between 10 am-noon to meet and greet Dorothy Wilson, Aging Services Coordinator for JABA.
JABA is part of a nationwide network of nonprofit "area agencies on aging." Started by an act of Congress in 1974, they typically work to bring together services to maximize the independence and dignity of older adults. There are 25 of these planning & service areas in Virginia, one of which is JABA which serves Charlottesville, and Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties. Learn about JABA here.
Dorothy will bring the expertise of JABA to Nellysford every second Wednesday of the month from 9 am -1 pm. She will keep hours in the HSW office in Tuckahoe Clubhouse.
She offers consultation on all JABA services. JABA serves all the residents in the Nellysford area of Nelson County. You are free to drop in or make an appointment by emailing her at dwilson@jabacares.org.
