Besides two very interesting speakers, at this coffee for members and volunteers on Wintergreen Mountain in the big room in the nature foundation's Trillium House, there will be updates on Here to Stay in Wintergreen's current plans. Our two guest speakers:
Wintergreen Fire and Rescue's Jeremy Wampler speaking on how to make your home safe. We have asked him to reprise the well-received presentation he made earlier which one member told us scared him into doing something.
Glenn Tupper, who is active in Nelson County's Rotary, linked up with an unusual effort to bring together used ambulances in Virginia and elsewhere and ship them to Ukraine. His involvement in this private humanitarian aid effort expanded to where Glenn recently found himself close to the front lines of the war. Come see his photos and hear his personal impressions on this tragic everyday front-page international news story.
On the mountain, RSVP here now to help us prepare.
If you haven't attended this popular gathering for our members and volunteers, you're missing something. Watch your email and check the Here to Stay Wintergreen calendar for future Coffee & Camaraderie details.
