Wintergreen Fire and Rescue's new paramedic program aims to decrease emergency calls by providing individuals with health and safety education as well as connecting people to resources that can enhance their safety at home.

Dr. Wayne Hachey will outline how the community paramedic program works at our March 20th Coffee and Camaraderie. He'll explain who in Nelson County qualifies for this service, how the service is activated, and what it does, and does not, offer. (The community paramedic program is not a 24/7 service.)
